Luis was born to Eufracia Bueno Bocardo and Jose Jacinto Bocardo in Brownsville, Texas on July 22, 1956. Luis met his wife, Angelica, in Freemont, Ohio in the 1970's. They married and had 6 children together: Luis, Monica, Juan, Angelica, Angel, and Jessie.
Luis loved to work on cars, trucks, and various engines from a very early age. He especially loved Chevy trucks. He passed his passion for vehicles onto his children. He also was known to have a 'green thumb', and could often be found out in the garden, watering his many plants and trees. A long time Dallas Cowboys fan, he loved to talk football with his sons, while trying to predict the outcomes of each upcoming season. He was a man who could both appreciate and tell a good joke, and would often use this to lift the spirit of those around him.
Luis was a man of faith, raised Catholic, and most recently attended Family Christian Center in Clermont, Florida.
In addition to his wife, Angelica, and six children, Luis is survived by his 12 grandchildren: Kayla, Alexis, LJ , Selena, Mariah, Hector Jr, Julian, Josue, Angel Jr, Sebastian, Isabella, and Karlysa. He is also survived by his 8 siblings: Jose Jr, Rosalinda, Juan, Sabino, Pablo, Frank Sr, Ruben, and Martina (Aguayo), and his Sons & Daughters in-law: Melinda, Matthew, Katherine, Hector, Yvette, and Natalia.
His legacy is his family. He will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.
