Obituary
Luetta May Smith Benson, 85, passed away of natural causes in Perry, Georgia on October 9, 2016 at 11:30am.
Lou was born on October 11, 1930 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She worked at Ford Motor Company in Ypsilanti, Michigan for 15 years, and also was an Executive House Keeper for 8 years after moving to Florida in 1977.
She is survived by her Daughters: Vicky Sue Benson of Willmann, Arizona & Terry Lynn March of Clermont, Florida and her son, David Scott Benson of Kathleen, Georgia; her 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren; her four siblings: Charles Melvin Smith of Chelsea, Michigan, Dixie Ruth Monroe of Wayne, Michigan, George Monroe Smith of Medina, Ohio and Judy Elizabeth Wynn of Trenton, Missouri.
She is preceded in dearth by her beloved Husband, Everett Carl Benson; her daughter, Sandra Ann Falocco and her son, Richard Carl Benson; along with her Mother & Father, Lucy Ann & Elmer Louis Smith and a brother, Vernon Edward Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00am at the Becker Funeral Home in Clermont with Pastor Darrell Sheeley officiating.
Luetta will be reunited with her husband, Everett, on December 20, 2016, their 69th Wedding Anniversary, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
