Lucile Georgia Hopper, 83, Mulberry, FL passed away May 13, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL. She was born November 15, 1928 in Tate, Georgia, daughter of Claude Ray & Emma Blackwell Ray. She was an elevator assembler. A central Florida resident since 1953 from Canton, Georgia, she was a former resident of Union Park, Winter Garden, Clermont, Zephyrhills and most recently Mulberry where she resided with her daughter & son-in-law. She was a member of GateWay Church of Clermont. Preceding her in death were her husband Edward T. Hopper in 1981; daughter Deborah D. Ellinghausen in 1999; granddaughter Angela Ray; 3 siblings and son-in-law Kenneth S. Oder in 2005. Surviving are her children Barry Thomas Ray & wife Candy of Tavares; Sally Ann Oder, Jennings, FL & Patricia J. Young & husband Eric of Mulberry; 6 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.



The funeral service for Mrs. Hopper will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at GateWay Church of Clermont, 15550 CR 565-A, Clermont, FL. Her son-in-law, Reverend Eric Young will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the funeral home.
