Lorraine Crawford, a resident of Winter Garden, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2024 at 4:48pm at the age of 78, leaving behind a beloved daughter, Lynn,
and two sisters, Mattie Josephine and Lena Ellean, and a large family of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memories.

Lorraine was born on September 7, 1946 in Escambia County to proud parents of William Clayton and Lena Pearl Gilbert. Lorraine was the youngest of eight
siblings; three brothers and four sisters: Mildred Nadine, Hasty Durell, Sarah Nell,
Robert "RL", Clayton Verdell, Mattie Josephine and Lena Ellean.
Lorraine adored her nieces and nephews. She had a special place for all of them in her heart.

In Lorraine's younger days, getting dressed up and feeling pretty gave her immense joy. She loved having fun and being with friends. She loved family
reunions, bringing the family together, and the favorite dishes everyone would bring to share.

She loved listening to Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty and Dolly Parton. She loved karaoke and singing, "These Boots Are Made for Walking."

Lorraine loved to cookout. She enjoyed a good BBQ while hanging out with family and friends, and listening to country music. Music brought her fun and joy.
Lorraine grew up in a Christian home. Her mother, Lena Pearl, shared her love for the LORD every day, in every way. You could always witness her reading the
Bible, praying, or hear her singing hymns with the Gospel music that filled her home.

Lorraine followed her mother's legacy and footsteps for her love for the LORD.
Lorraine proudly proclaimed her love for the LORD, telling friends and family that she became a Christian. Lorraine was proud of accepting Jesus Christ into her life.

She would talk about her love for Him and reading the Bible. Lorraine's love will be deeply missed by all of her family, friends, nieces and nephews. Her legacy of compassion and integrity will be remembered and cherished for generations.

Lorraine Crawford is survived by daughter, Lynn; and sisters, Josephine, and Ellean.
