Loris Evadne Hussett, 90, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She was born on February 15, 1930 in Manchester, Jamaica. She was the daughter of the late John and Mayfred Brown and the loving wife of the late Henry Hussett.

In addition to being a loving daughter and wife, Loris was a dedicated sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted member of Faith Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed telling stories and was known for being the life of the party. She will forever be known as "sunshine" because she brightened the life of everyone she touched.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Beryl Boswell.

Loris is survived by her sisters Sadie Brown, Aldyth Powell, Audrey Powell and husband Roy, Phyllis Singh and husband Keith. She is also survived by her nieces Jenefer Ali and husband Dr. Terri, Lisa Powell, Michelle Powell-Henderson and husband Corey, Dr. Nicole Singh and Natalie Singh. She is also survived by her nephews Volney Boswell and wife Carol, Donald Powell, Errol Boswell and wife Pat, Peter Powell and wife Lisa and Gregory Singh. Loris is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
