Loretta was born and raised in the Bronx, NY.  She worked as a nurse on Long Island for many years at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Center, NY until moving to Cherry Grove, South Carolina where she continued her work as a nurse at Grand Strand Hospital. Upon her retirement, they moved to Davenport, Fl in 1997.

She loved life and lived it to the fullest along side her husband of 66 1/2 years, Jack, who passed in 2022.

Loretta was the deeply loved mother of Ann Hahl (Bill), John (Michelle) and predeceased son Kevin (USN).

A beloved Grandmother of Nicole Marchant (Josh), Casey Davidson (Fraser) and Tegan Murphy. Four great-grandchildren gave her great joy; Taylor & Ashlyn Marchant and Audrey & Rory Davidson.

Her laugh could fill a room, and she made everyone feel at home in her presence. She will be greatly mourned by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Mass of Celebration will be held on Friday April 5 at 10 AM at St. Faustina's Catholic Church, 15551 N Boggy Marsh Rd in Clermont Fl. Interment will be in South Carolina at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to St. Faustina's : http://www.stfaustina.org
