Lois Jennie
Rein
June 30, 1939 – March 11, 2026
LOIS REIN (nee Felice), 86, went home to the Lord on March 11th, 2026. Lois, a resident of Florida, was born in Patchogue, NY and lived there for 66 years. She was a member of Patchogue-Medford Class of 1957. At the time of her passing, she was the longest living member of the Patchogue “Felice” family.
Lois was a past president of the Medford Ave PTA; a director of the Patchogue Garden Club; and a board member of Patchogue’s Emanuel Lutheran Church. It was there, and in Florida, that she introduced and led the ALPHA Project, emphasizing the work of the Holy Spirit in the Trinity.
With her gifts for home design, entertainment, cooking, and graciousness she spread joy wherever she participated. Lois’s friends marveled at her talents and they would remark, “Martha Stewart calls Lois each week for suggestions.” Lois loved the beach, the color pink, and she made everything beautiful. She was the personification of love and care.
Lois is survived by her husband, Norman; sons Ron, Rick, and Jeff (Cheri); Grandchildren, Rick (Christine), Kristalyn Pelletier (Andrew), Jenni Sharpe (Sam) Patrick, and Kelsey Falatovich (Josh); Great grandchildren, Ella and Evie Pelletier, Adam Sharpe, Raelyn, Sydney, and No. 3 on the way, Falatovich; plus, numerous “bonus” grandchildren and great grandchildren including the Fucci and Witman families; and many, many dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Woodlands Lutheran Church, Montverde, FL on March 17th, 2026 at 11:00am.
