Obituary

Lois Addlene Vance Lakey, age 92, of St. Augustine, Florida and former Clermont resident, passed away December 28th, 2017 at Bailey's Hospice Center. She was born March 7th, 1925 in Iager, West Virginia. She was predeceased by parents, Sara and Greenway Vance, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, a beloved niece, Peggy Keoppel and her loving husband of 58 years, Cecil E. Lakey on November 16, 2011. Surviving are 3 daughters, Linda Hurst (Wayne), Mary Wiseman (Terry), Diane Bethune (Ed), 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and lovingly remembered by a nephew, Graham Musselman and a niece, Yvonne Christopher. Lois will be remembered for her love of God, family, service to the church and her generous heart. Funeral arrangements: the viewing for Lois Lakey will be held Tuesday January 2nd, 6pm-8pm, at the Becker Funeral Home, 806 West Minneola Avenue Clermont, Florida 34711. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 3rd, 9:30 AM at Becker Funeral Home. Reverend Chris Duval of Gateway Church will officiate the ceremony. Burial will follow in Florida Nation Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
