Lois Catherine Brannigan, 83, Minneola, passed away October 1, 2011 at South Lake Hospital. She was born January 1, 1928 in Forest Hills, PA daughter of Howard C. Dale & Ella C. Maines Dale. She was a special needs bus aide and a local resident since 1996 from Monroeville, PA. An active  member of  Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, she was at mass daily, was the Sunday morning doughnut lady and was involved in CCD. Her husband Joseph Brannigan preceded her in death in 2003 as did her son Ronald. Surviving are her children James (Terri) Riggins, Chester, MD; Charles (Tracey) Brannigan, Pittsburg, PA & Joe (Carla) Brannigan, Jasper, TN; grandchildren Emily, Bo, Heather, April, Jay & Jeremy & 14 great-grandchildren.



Mass of the Resurrection for Lois Catherine Brannigan will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, celebrated by Very Reverend Robert E. Webster. The family will recieve friends for one hour prior to the Mass. Inurnment will be at a later date in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Brannigan requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to the church.
