It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Linda Mae Kaai-Deschenes, 70, on July 20, 2026. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born on August 22, 1955 in Tamuning, Guam to Theodore Iona Kaai and Donna Leon Guerrero Borja.

She was a charismatic woman that was loved by many. She enjoyed several hobbies including gardening and tending to plants, boat rides, and sea shell hunting. She loved her friends and family deeply. She spent a lot of her time crafting and playing with her 5 grandchildren and going to bingo with her friends.

She is survived by her Fiancé, Robert Patterson of Clermont, FL, her loving children John Manera of Dearborn Heights, MI; Sabrina (Travis) Pigford of Apple Valley, MN; Ashley Theisen of Sterling Heights, MI; and MacKenzie Theisen of Dearborn Heights, MI. Her grandchildren Brynn Pigford and Saniyah, Norielle, Brianna, and Jermaine Taylor. Her sisters Helen Cepeda and Liberty Kaai, and her brother Peter (Marie) Kaai. Along with countless nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brothers Robin, Eddy, and Theodore and sisters Carmelita and Betty.
