IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Foskett
Ford
August 19, 1957 – November 17, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Foskett Ford, a remarkable woman, who left this world on November 17, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on August 19, 1957, in Bermuda, Linda would grow to become a treasured wife, mother, "Eat", aunt, and friend, whose love and light touched everyone around her.
Linda resided in Orlando, Florida, where she created a life full of memories with her beloved husband, Larry Ford. Their bond was a beautiful tapestry woven with laughter, love, and delightful banter—a testament to a relationship cherished by many. Though their time together was too brief, it was filled with unforgettable adventures that included travels to Las Vegas, New York City, London, and the beautiful shores of the Bahamas and Destin. These family vacations brought heartfelt joy, laughter, and everlasting memories that will be cherished forever.
A proud mother to Tom and Summer, Linda held the role of "Mom" with unwavering devotion, never hesitating to support her children in every endeavor. She was not just a mother; she was a dedicated grandmother, lovingly known as "Eat" by her grandchildren. Her sense of family extended beyond the immediate, as she made it her mission to uplift others, guiding young athletes through her unwavering commitment to fastpitch softball in Central Florida.
For over 20 years, Linda poured her heart and soul into her business, Foskett Sporting Goods, which she built from the ground up. Her entrepreneurial spirit lives on through the legacy of her establishment, which continues to thrive today. With an ambition to enrich the lives of others, she served as the ADA for softball in Central Florida, advocating for young female athletes so they could pursue their dreams, whether through participation in FSU camps or securing excellent coaching.
Linda's spirit was one of giving; her life was a testament to selflessness, and she didn't just live but genuinely embraced the essence of life, making every moment count. She brought hope, joy, and kindness to those fortunate enough to cross her path.
Rest in peace, Linda. Your light will forever shine bright in our hearts.
