Lillian "Cookie" Opal Moore, 79, Ferndale, passed away October 6, 2014 at home with loving family at her bedside. She was born March 19, 1935 in Pineview, GA daughter of Ruby Peavy & Walter Cook. A homemaker, she was a Florida resident since 1946 and member of Ferndale Church of God. Her husband' Jimmy Batts & James W. Moore preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughters Shirley (Fred) Peters & Sherry (Jackie) Batts all of Ferndale; grandchildren Lynn (John) Riffle; James (Karen) Peters; Kyle (Katie) Peters & Nate Peters & great-grandchildren Victoria Rager, Cole Peters, Chace Peters & Easton Peters.



The funeral service for Lillian "Cookie" Moore will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Ferndale Church of God. Burial will follow in Ferndale Cemetery.
