Obituary

Lewis Franklin Parker, 80, Clermont, passed away April 25, 2013 at home. He was born September 12, 1932 in Altoona, PA son of Faith Emma Moore & Joseph B. Passarella. He served in the US Navy and on September 21, 1957 was united in marriage to June Grace Merkel in Valley Stream, NY. He was an attorney and retired in 1978 as Chief Judge with the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC, relocating to Kings Ridge in Clermont in 2001. Surviving is his wife June; children Ellen Leah Karner & husband Bruce of Severna Park, MD; Susan Elizabeth Solitar & husband Bruce of New York, NY & Lewis Franklin Parker, Jr. & wife Nadia of Lovettsville, VA; grandchildren Bruce, Christopher & Alexandra Karner & Alan, Nicole & Rebecca Solitar & brother Lee Passarella & wife Candace of Lawrenceville, GA.



The funeral service for Lewis Parker will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, April 29, 2013 in the Becker Chapel. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM on Sunday.
