Leslie F. O'Brien (Les) of Apopka, Florida

May 13, 1920 – March 28, 2021

Les was born in Brockton, Massachusetts and he graduated from Brockton High School in 1938 before joining the Army.  He served overseas during World War II.

He and his wife Winona raised three children; sons Les O'Brien (Shari) and Harry O'Brien (Barbara) and daughter Nancy O'Brien. He moved his family to Florida in 1949 and was employed by Peninsular Telephone Company, which later became General Telephone and Electronics Corporation (GTE).  He retired in 1982 after 32 years and he and his second wife Edyth traveled to many places throughout the world. He loved to swim, drive, play golf and to bowl.

Les has eight grandchildren Michael Muldrow, Tracie Manche, David O'Brien, Sean O'Brien, Michelle Marengo, Chad and Craig Livingston, and Emily Reddy.  In addition, he has 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
