Leopoldo Rivera, 83, passed away on June 28*, 2024, in Clermont, Fl. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He joined the United States Army, where he served proudly during the Vietnam War. Upon his return home, he worked as a truck driver until retirement. His favorite pastime was collecting and listening to music from his favorite artist.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers and sister. He is survived by his wife Luz and their 3 daughters Norma and her husband Patrick, Magaly, Damaris and her husband Jeremiah; Ten grandchildren; Nason, Matthew, Alexis, Julio, Talisa, Tyris, Elias, Lucas, Angalise, and Andres; Sister Nelsa and brothers Eduardo, Papo and Juñito. As well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

While we lost our most beloved husband, dad and grandfather, many have lost a friend and loved one in him. We will miss his sense of humor, his "fashion sense" and the love and laughter that he brought us. We invite you all to share your memories or anecdotes of him. It was his wish that we laugh, reminisce and smile together during this time

Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 12pm until 4pm at Becker Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at a later date at Florida National Cemetery.
