Leonard (Lenny) Alan Marcus of Clermont, FL passed away on December 16, 2022.  He was born March 20, 1947 in Hartford, CT to Ira and Sylvia (Gaber) Marcus. He graduated from Weaver High School in Hartford, and joined the U.S. Navy after high school, where he served from 1967 – 1971. He literally married "the girl next door" when he married Patricia (Patty) Marcus in September, 1968. He was a skilled handyman and spent twenty years of his career at Meadow Management in Cromwell, CT. He and Patty retired to Clermont, FL in 2003.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Vooys, her partner, Troy Parrill, and his grandchildren, Koty and Hunter Vooys, all of Cromwell, CT. He is also survived by his brother Carl (Bea) Marcus of Washington Court House, OH; his brother Howie Marcus of Shoreline, WA; his sister-in-laws Dottie Curtiss (Tom) of Ellington, CT; and Betsy Meaney of Bristol, RI; his brother-in-law Dan (Helen) Meaney of Ellington, CT; and eight nieces and nephews. In addition, Lenny made friends everywhere he went and will be missed by all of his dear friends who he loved like family. He will also be missed by his faithful companion, Sandy, and his fish.

He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, and the love of his life, Patty Marcus, as well as his parents, Ira and Sylvia, a menagerie of pets, and a few close friends.
