Leonard Krygier Age 76, of Groveland, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2024. Born to Leonard Krygier Sr. and Lillian Baker Krygier, Leonard grew up with a passion for trains that would stay with him throughout his life. He loved working with toy trains, and his store, The Train Shoppe in Wilkes-Barre, PA, became a beloved place for families and train enthusiasts alike. Leonard was known for bringing happiness to children and adults of all ages, sharing his love for trains, building intricate layouts, and helping others discover the joy of the hobby. He was a devoted husband to Mollie Krygier and a loving father to Marsha Hancock and her husband Kevin Hancock, Samantha Krygier and her spouse Kyle Pace. Leonard's legacy continues through his grandchildren: Matt Cerski, Daniel Throne, Keri Ann Cerski, Kristina Throne, Nicholas Hancock, Jase Krygier Chisholm, and Jeremy Krygier Chisholm, as well as his great-granddaughter, Rosie Cerski. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Leonard Krygier Sr. Leonard is survived by his sister and brothers-in-law Kathy and Michael, and James Hall, along with numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. An avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football, Leonard loved to spend time with his animals and cherished the moments shared with his family. He will be remembered for his generosity, enthusiasm for trains, and the warmth he brought to everyone he met. Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of Leonard's life at Blessed Sacrament, Clermont, FL., Thursday March 13, 2025 at 11 am.
