Lee Erick Wilson, 91, Minneola, passed away March 22, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 17, 1921 in Arno, VA son of Samuel Pierce Wilson & Frances Ward Wilson. He was retired from the US Navy as a Chief Boatswain's Mate having served in WWII where he was a POW, and served the Navy from 1939 - 1959. On January 1, 1946 he was united in marriage to Glenda Pauline Hansel in Harlan, KY. A local resident since 1983 from Roseville, MI he was a member of Engage Church & former member of Ex-POW's. His siblings Hubert & James Wilson & Ruby Wacks & Mary Nolan preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 66+ years, Glenda Pauline Wilson of the residence; children Shirley (Gerald) Badalamento, Beverly (Charles) Boike & Terry (Patricia) Wilson all of Clermont & Johnnie (Dora) Wilson, Minneola; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren & brother Thurman (June) Wilson, Mulberry, FL.



The funeral service for Lee Wilson will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 26, 2012 in the Becker Chapel. Pastors Rod Trusty & Chris Gingrasso will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Sunday, March 25, 2012.
