Lee Younger McDaniel, 52, passed away on September 4, 2025, in Clermont, Florida, the city where he was also born on March 6, 1973. His life was marked by a deep appreciation for nature and a quiet strength of character.
Lee graduated from Groveland High School before pursuing higher education at Palm Beach Atlantic College. There, he earned both a bachelors of science and a masters degree in business administration - an academic foundation that supported a diverse and accomplished professional career.
Throughout his working life, Lee contributed his skills and dedication to several organizations. He served as a U. S. Government contractor with Raytheon Range Engineering Services overseas in the Bahamas, demonstrating his commitment to service beyond national borders. He also worked with Rinker, CSR, and PCE & Associates, where he applied his business acumen across various roles.
Lee's personal life reflected his love for the outdoors and an enduring connection to the natural world. He found joy in traveling and spending time outside - weather hunting or fishing, watching wildlife in their natural habitats, or simply enjoying the company of animals. He had a particular fondness for hunting dog breeds, and was often seen with a guitar in hand, blending his love for music with moments of peaceful reflection.
Though Lee had his struggles in life, those who knew him remember him as pleasant and friendly, with a thoughtful and mild mannered nature that revealed itself through quiet strength.
Lee is remembered by his children, Jordan Ross McDaniel, Rachel Elizabeth McDaniel, and John Patrick McDaniel. He is also remembered by his mother, Shirley Lee McDaniel; and his brother, Ben E McDaniel (Kathy), Neal McDaniel (Tammy), Chris McDaniel (Brandy). He was preceded in death by his father, George Ervin McDaniel.
A Memorial Service will be held on September 13, 2025, beginning at 10 AM at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. Minneola Avenue, Clermont, Florida
