Lavern Taylor, 72, of Clermont, FL passed away Monday, December 14, 2015. Lavern was born in East Prairie, MO, daughter of the late Riley and Mildred Archie. She was a retired bus driver and had lived in the South Lake area since 1978 previously living in Polk County. Lavern was a member of The Lakeside Church, Oakland, FL.

Lavern is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill", children, Cecilia Starlene "Star" Adams, Patricia Diane Hendrix, Elliott Oneil Jackson and Marla Ann Jackson; siblings, Lois Cole, Richard Archie, Joyce Ann Archie and Billy Wayne Archie; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
