Larry Dale Zigler, 71, of Clermont, Florida succumbed to cancer on October 20, 2018.
Larry is survived by his daughters Rosa Lee Braezel, Betty Rose Connell, sister Bonnie Stephens, brother Duane Zigler, grandchildren Jacob Connell, Rachel Rose Connell and Rebecca Rosalie Connell. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Ruth Zigler, Dale Zigler and brother Eugene Zigler. Larry loved many things in life but his family was always the thing closest to his heart.
Larry loved sports, especially baseball, where his favorite team was the Tamp Bay Rays. He loyally served his country with the United States Navy where he was honorably discharged after 24 years of exemplary service. Larry spent his spare time enjoying fishing and roller coasters. Larry's greatest attribute was the love of his family and friends who he would selflessly go out of his way to help whenever needed. Larry's pleasant demeanor and glowing smile will always be remembered.
A special thank you to the people at Mike Conley hospice house in Clermont for their loving care and support during his final days. Also the family would like to extend their gratitude towards Becker funeral home for being accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday October 27, 2018. A celebration of life will be held at the home of Rosa Breazel immediately following the services.
