Lanny L. Falgout

Lanny L. Falgout, 79 a native of Chauvin, Louisiana and a resident of Groveland, Florida
passed away Friday, December 24, 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edyth Pellegrin Falgout, children Douglas (Christina)
Falgout and Denise (Charles) Truscott. He is also survived by grandchildren Danielle (Glenn)
Sallean, Chaz and Zachary (Haley) Falgout, as well as Reginald and Bennett Truscott, and his
sister, Sharon Duplantis. Lanny was also a great-grandfather of Maygen, Kaden, and Ryan
Falgout as well as Emma, Hannah, and Landon Sallean.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lydie Falgout, his son David Falgout,
his grandson Brad Falgout and his sister, Jacqueline Falgout.
Lanny was a graduate of St. Francis Boys school and the University of Southwestern
Louisiana (ULL) where he was a member of the college's football team.
Lanny was a coach and teacher at South Terrebonne High School from 1965-73, and a
commercial diver for over 30 years.
There are no plans for services at this time, but a memorial will be planned in the future.
