Obituary
Kevin Lee Walters, age 27, St. Cloud, FL died December 12, 2015 at Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee as the result of injuries sustained earlier in the day. He was born in that same hospital on April 7, 1988 son of Carla Denice Garner & Thomas Carrol Walters. A graduate of Boone High School in Orlando, he enlisted in the US Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal & Army Service Ribbon before being honorably discharged. Surviving are his mother Carla Garner & siblings Olivia & Chance Ware all of Winter Garden; father Tommy Walters & wife Missy, St. Cloud; maternal grandmother Jennie Garner, O'Brien, FL; maternal grandfather Wayne Garner & wife Jackie, Polk City; paternal grandparents Henry & Arlene Walters, Kissimmee; aunts, uncles & cousins.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Mosaic Church, 608 W. Oakland Ave., Oakland, FL. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with Army honors. Should friends desire, please consider a memorial contribution in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
