Kelvin Ohanio Venzen of St. Thomas, USVI passed away on the afternoon or August 22, 2018. He was the last child of Julian Emmanuel Venzen & Dorothy Venzen. He was born and raised on the island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and was proud of it. In his early years Kelvin enjoyed boxing and karate, winning numerous tournaments as he advanced in both. Kelvin served his community for 25 years as a police officer for the VIPD helping countless individuals and families. He was a person who was always happy and immediately brought life into any room he came into. Kelvin enjoyed keeping his community safe but above all else he advocated strongly being a family man and protecting his home. He loved and was extremely proud of his siblings. Kelvin was most happy at family events with his siblings, nieces, nephews, wife & children. He was happily married for 33 years to Lorraine Venzen and they had two sons Michael & Matthew who, he loved unequivocally. He retired and moved to Groveland, Florida in 2015 and spent his retired time with his family. Kelvin was a great brother, husband & father that was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
