On Sunday, August 23, 2020, Kelly L. Davis passed away peacefully in her Orlando home surrounded by her family. An Orlando transplant, Kelly was born in Jacksonville, Florida and relocated to the area when she was in elementary school, graduating from Oak Ridge High School ('81) before starting a family. Kelly expertly found the perfect balance between family and career, becoming a Registered Nurse and working for Orlando Health at Dr. Phillips Hospital for almost three decades. During that time, Kelly returned to school once more to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Petersburg College. In her spare time, Kelly loved gardening (especially her roses and orchids), crafts, and cruises, making friends at every port of call on each ship she sailed and touching lives around the world. Family was the most important thing to Kelly, and many of her friends were folded into the family and she became a surrogate mother to many of her children's friends and younger colleagues.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Darlene, siblings Laurie and Dale, nephew Michael, and father-in-law Bob. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Dan, children Danny and Krissy (Erik), mother-in-law Geri, siblings Teresa (Chris) and Michael (Karen), adopted sister Gina, brothers-in-law Mike (Barb) and Matt (Leigh), uncles Ronnie, Danny, and Perry, aunts Vicki and Pat, nieces Kara (Brian), Alecia (Marc), Frannie (Rob), Ashley, Lacie Kay, Autumn, Alyssa, nephews Chris, Josh (Aubrey), Ryan, Kyle, and many great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers sent to the family, they would like to honor Kelly's love of gardening by requesting you "plant a new life" and add a flower, tree, shrub, or bush to your garden to keep her memory alive.
