Our sweetheart Keiki Aumakua Lanakila Fallstrom, 28, died unexpectedly on March 24, 2022, at her home in Minneola.
Keiki, who was born with Down syndrome on January 21, 1994, in Honolulu, delighted all those she touched.
When her mother died, Keiki moved halfway around the world and a new life with her aunt and uncle Julie and Jerrold Fallstrom in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. She would later move into a loving group home in Minneola.
She loved music and taking walks, and had an infectious laugh that had those around her smiling.
In addition to her aunt and uncle, survivors include her father, Douglas Fallstrom of Blachly, Oregon; brother Caspian Fallstrom of Las Vegas; half-brother Dylan Lyons of Eugene, Oregon; and half-sisters Callie Chadwick of Brisbane, Australia, and Amelia Johnson of Farmersville, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Arnold, and half brother Loudon Lyons.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. April 23 at Wootson Temple Church of God in Christ, 918 Scott St., Clermont.
