Kathy Lee Spartichino, 74, passed away suddenly at her son’s residence in Minneola, Florida on September 14, 2026. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of Lester and Gladys Church. Kathy was a 1970 graduate of North Harford High School. 

She made the adventurous move to Ocala, Florida with her husband Bruce and their two boys in 1977. Later she started a career at Mako Compressor in Ocala and that is where she met the love of her life, Al Spartichino. They married in Palm Beach, Florida and grew a successful small business in the breathing air compressor field. 

In her spare time, Kathy loved to read and to bake. She was also a black belt in the art of chilling. Someone once said she was “effortlessly cool”. 

Kathy is survived by her sons, Jake and Josh Staley, grandchildren Colton, Jaiden, Sofia and Finn and sister Debbie White and many nieces and nephews.
