Katherine "Katie" J. Lynn, 40, of Minneola, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020. She was born June 28, 1979 in Hawaii and grew up in Groveport, Ohio.

She was a warrior and inspiration to all of her friends, family and daughters as she had battled stage four breast cancer since July 2016. Katie had a fierce attitude and love for many things; Disney, paint night, a frozen beverage and dogs (but especially Boston Terriers). Most of all she had a love for her two daughters that surpassed all else. She was a dedicated mother who volunteered often at the elementary school, in the classroom and with special events. She found joy in watching her daughters playing sports, crafting and painting together, laughing at their antics, gathering together for snuggles and movie night, and blasting hip hop, R & B and rap tunes to and from school with the girls.

Recently, Katie was baptized surrounded by friends on December 16, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her dear father Charles R. Lukens, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Alexandra (9) and Regan (6).

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Katie's honor to the Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation.
