Karen Ann Lewis passed from our presence but not from our hearts on Friday, September 17 th , 2021, at her home in Leesburg Florida. Karen was born October 21 st , 1959, in New York, NY and she spent her childhood in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She moved to Charlotte, NC where she met her husband, Edward Lewis where they lived until 1996 when they moved back to Mt. Dora near Eddie's parents. After the passing of her husband in 2004 she relocated to Mascotte, FL and recently purchased a home in Leesburg, FL.
Karen was a big Nascar fan, primarily Dale Earnhart Sr and Tony Stewart fan. She supported the Miami Dolphins, no matter what. She loved the holidays especially Christmas. Those who visited her home remember all her decorations. She worked in accounting all her life and was very good at it. Karen's faith in God was strong and helped her through her challenges over the years and now she has been called to his side for eternity. To all those who knew and loved her, her family is eternally thankful for your support to her over those past few years and to us during this time.
Karen was predeceased by her parents, Cass and Carol Lukas of Venice, FL, her husband, Edward Lewis of Mt. Dora, FL, her brother, Walter Scott Lukas of Venice, Fl and the loves of her life Jasmine and Sheba. She is survived by her sister, Christine E Hopkins and her husband Robert Hopkins of Mooresville, NC.
