Karen Larson Hohne, 47, of Clermont, FL passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Florida Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. Karen was born on January 22, 1967 in Glendale, CA, the daughter of John and Kay (nee Roper) Larson. She was a resident Florida for the past 14 years, moving to Clermont in January of 2003, previously living in San Diego, CA. Karen was very involved in her children's education, serving on Student Advisory Councils at Pine Ridge Elementary, Gray Middle School and South Lake High School.



Karen is survived by her loving husband, Matt; children, Maggie, Christina and James; mother, Kay (Don) Goodwillie of Naples, FL and brother, Kenneth (Julie) Larson of Manchester by the Sea, MA. She was preceded in death by her father, John Larson.



Mass of the Resurrection for Karen will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 5, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont. The Very Reverend Robert E. Webster celebrating. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials in Karen's name to the Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 443, Minneola, FL 34755.
