Karen Ann Broome, 52, Minneola, passed away December 10, 2011 at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was born June 7, 1959 in Clermont daughter of J. Harper Broome & Cellie Margaret Norris. A lifelong local resident, she was a member of Christian & Missionary Alliance where she was involved in the pre-school program and the church library. She worked Lake County Precinct 22 election board in Minneola, always looking forward to that. She was a "little lady" with a "big inpact". Surviving is her sister Peggy Whittaker of Minneola; neice Esther Fagan and husband Tommy and great-nephew Quin Fagan; nephew Adam Whittaker, Seattle, WA & niece Lauren Whittaker, Chicago, IL.



The funeral service for Karen Ann Broome will be held at 9:30 AM on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the graveside in Minneola Cemetery. Reverend Bob Beaver will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions to Christian & Missionary Alliance Library Fund or Gideons.
