Karen was born to the late William and Hazel Hart on February 23, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Groveland High School in 1959. She was a cheerleader and loved playing the piano.

Karen was predeceased by her loving husband Randolph Edwin Addison in 2015. Karen is survived by her four children: Dawn Stalnaker-Price (husband Eddie Price), of Clermont, Florida; Candace L. Flowers (husband Scott Flowers), of Charleston, South Carolina; Jeffrey Addison of Charlotte, North Carolina and Roger Boone, of San Jose, California. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

Karen was a legal secretary for over 50 years. After her retirement she worked as the church secretary for First Baptist Church of Groveland for a number of years. Karen was very active in her the church and loved playing the piano and organ. Karen also loved to sing. She was in the choir for many years and loved to sing solo pieces. She would often volunteer to sing or play for special events. Karen also loved spending time with her friends and family. She especially loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. Karen touched many people's lives and will be sincerely missed by everyone that knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Groveland, 137 E. Cherry Street, Groveland, Florida, 34736. The burial with graveside interment will take place immediately following at 1 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
