Judith Marie Goulet Desautels

Judy Desautels,79 of Clermont, Florida, was born on July 27, 1942 and died on November 26, 2021

Judy was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to Wilfred Goulet and Marie Giraca Goulet. They resided in Putnam, Connecticut.
After graduating from Putnam High School, Judy attended St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Worcester, MA
She received her RN in 1963 and on August 1, 1964 Judy married Gerald Raymond Desautels.
Judy spent the next 10 years doing OBGYN at Day Kimball Hospital before moving onto night supervisor. She then accepted a position
at Putnam High School as the nurse for 10 years and then 10 more years as the head school nurse for the Putnam school system, before retiring in 1994.
Jerry was employed by Northeast Utilities/Yankee Gas also retiring in 1994. Prior to retiring Jerry and Judy raised 2 daughters, Jane and Jennifer, in Putnam.
In 1995 they moved to Clermont, Florida, where Judy worked as her son in law, Sean Duffy's administrative assistant for 10 years at Keen's Point Golf and Country Club.
Judy was an avid reader and knitter.
Judy, as an only child was preceded in death by her parents Wilfred and Marie Goulet and her son in law Sean Duffy.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gerald Desautels, daughter and son in law, Jane and Giuseppe Magliocchetti, daughter Jennifer Duffy and grand children Francesca (Magliocchetti) Spartz, Luciano, and Giovanni, Tyler and Casey Duffy. All of the immediate family are residing in Clermont.
