Josue also known as (Gmar) was a kind, loving and dedicated man. Dedicated to his family, friends and loved ones. Throughout life he has worked jobs to support his family such as construction and even entrepreneurship.

He will be remembered by his brothers Joshua Escalera, Carlos Escalera, Jesus Montanez sisters Danysha Caraballo and Jamirelys Rivera, Mother Irene Rivera Davila, his wife Maria Rubio and his son King Carter Ayala.

Not growing up with a father figure made his pursuit to be the best father he could be his number one goal in life. Although his life was tragically taken too soon, he made the years he had with King the best he could. Growing up with or even being around Gmar was a blessing in every encounter. He made the best of every situation and was loyal to all that showed him loyalty.

To be around Gmar was to be happy laughing filled with joy and protected and loved. All that knew Gmar will not forget how bright he always shined.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10am at Becker Funeral Home.  Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Groveland will follow the service.
