Joseph Allen "Al" Semrad
March 23rd, 1947- March 25, 2025

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Joseph Allen "Al" Semrad, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Al passed March 25th, peacefully at the hospital, of complex heart issues four days after being diagnosed. Al was born in Berwyn, Cook County Illinois, March 23rd 1947.

He graduated from Arizona State with a bachelor's degree in business and a minor in child psychology. After meeting his wife Valerie he proceeded to pursue his love of golf. They toured with the PGA tour for many years, doing very well in many tournaments. They loved golf and traveling around the world to play. Later they bought his father's beautiful golf course in Lundington, Michigan. The perfect business for the couple and young son to pursue their passion. Al was also a very successful day trader in the stock market, something he always watched and invested in.

Al's crazy sense of humor, quick wit and endless deep thought conversations were always part of every day. His jokes and insight will be Very missed. He is preceded in death by his parents. Joseph Benjamin Semrad and Julia "Joni" Rita Pavelek Semrad, and loving wife Valerie Therese Gorsch Semrad. He is survived by his son Tracy Baldwin, Granddaughters Safia Baldwin, Aundrea Baldwin, Great Granddaughter  Brynna Bolyer, and extended family Molly Brogden, and many loved friends.
