Obituary
Joseph Frederick McCarthy, age 69, Clermont, passed away April 6, 2017. He was born February 23, 1948 in Oneida, NY son of the late Margaret Whittaker & Richard McCarthy. He served in the US Navy & was a local resident since 1988. He was owner/operator of Clermont Appliance Service and member of American Legion Post 55. His brother Richard McCarthy preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife Robin Ann Cooper McCarthy; children Jason McCarthy, Daniel (Rachel) McCarthy & Joseph McCarthy, Jr. all of Oneida; Tracy Niles & Neil Holley; 4 granddaughters & siblings John (Betty) McCarthy, Potato Creek, SC; Michael McCarthy, Richmond, VA; David (Donna) McCarthy & Alan McCarthy all of Oneida; Dennis (Sue) McCarthy, Groveland; Kevin (Cate) McCarthy, Williamstown, NY; Patrick McCarthy, Orlando & Mary Randall, Chattanooga, TN.
Inurnment will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
