Joseph "Joe" Dale Leger was born in Oklahoma City, OK, on January 9, 1959, and died on November 16, 2025, at the age of 66 in Clermont, FL.  Joe enjoyed life to the fullest.  Joe was diagnosed with Glioblastoma on February 4, 2022. With his faith in God and the continual prayers and support of so many dear family members and friends, Joe surpassed all expectations of life expectancy.

Joe is preceded in death by his loving wife of 23 years, Charlotte Leger; his sister, Dina Leger; and his parents, Doris Pinkerton Leger Stevens and Eloyd (E.J.) Leger.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years Tammy Leger; his cherished daughter Chandra Leger; grandson Henry Leger; step son Michael Havill; sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Darrell Aebischer; brother Jim Leger; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Joe was a faithful follower and believer in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  He was a member at Bethel Baptist Church and Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK, and a member at The Church at South Lake in Clermont, FL.

Joe graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1983 with Bachelor of Science in Architecture.  Joe worked at JHBR and GSB architectural firms in Oklahoma City.  In 1995 he began a two-year assignment as an architect at Walt Disney World in Florida that turned into a 25-year dream career as a Walt Disney Imagineer.  Joe worked on Disney Resorts in California, Florida, and Hawaii.

The memorial service will be on November 22, 2025, at 10:30am at The Church at South Lake at 1860 Hancock Road, Clermont, FL 34711.  Reception to follow at the church.
