Jose Luciano, 85, of Clermont, FL passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Mike Conley Hospice House.  Jose was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of Jose and Rosa Luciano.  After school he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He was  a police officer in Brooklyn, NY before retiring.  Jose lived in Clermont for the past 18 years and was a member of the St. Faustina's Catholic Church Parish.

Jose is survived by his wife of 30 years, Adriana; children, Joseph, Felipe, Pablo, Margarita, Marie, Robert, Alejandro and Rosa.  He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.



Funeral Services for Jose will be held at 12:30PM Wednesday, August 29th at Becker Funeral Home. Father David Gillis officiating.  Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL where military honors will be rendered.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778.
