Jonathan "Wayne" Massey was born in Thomasville, Georgia on November 30, 1969. Wayne passed away peacefully at South Lake Hospital on September 14, 2021. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandson, grandpa, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Anyone that really knew Wayne would know his wife and kids came first. He wasn't one to judge, even when people didn't accept him or his family. Wayne always joked and smiled, as one of his sayings "Ya gotta keep on keeping on". Seems like yesterday we were laughing and playing. We may not see you but the memories, your voice and laughter live on. While some were intimidated by your size, we saw the love and the laughter you shared. Wayne was a big ole teddy bear. Yes calling him a teddy bear knowing he's laughing. He was a man that could make your darkest day brighter with his blue eyes like the ocean and bright smile as white as the clouds. Even though Holly feels alone, she can feel your love and it gives her strength. Caitlin knows when she gets married one day, you will be with her. Kyle will continue with school and know you will be there when he graduates. Wayne will also be missed by his parents, Frank and Linda Massey; his grandmother Urbie Parker and his brothers, Neal Massey and Chris Massey.

While you're in Heaven watching over us, we are waiting to see you again. Wayne has a huge family so many, too many names to write. Just know we all miss him and will remember him with our memories and hearts.
