Johnathan "Barry" Riddle, 68, of Clermont, FL, passed away suddenly Friday, February 11, 2022.  He was born on March 19, 1953, in Melbourne, FL; and grew up in the Mancelona-Kalkaska, Michigan Area.  He graduated from Mancelona High School in 1971.  He married the love of his life Deborah "Debbie" Garlock in March of 1973.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1972 to 1976 as an Aircraft and Engine Mechanic.  He worked as a volunteer firefighter for the town of Boyne City, Michigan.  He worked at Barden Lumber until moving to Florida, where he worked as a topper driver at Orange Service, and as a heavy machinery mechanic at a few companies.  He retired from Boykin Construction in 2018.

Barry and Debbie were enjoying their retirement, traveling and going on Lewis and Clark adventures with friends.  He enjoyed golfing, watching sports, drinking beer, and visiting casinos.  His favorite pastime was picking on everyone around him, especially his grandchildren, son-in-law, and golf buddies.

Barry is the loving husband of 49 years to Debbie.  The loving Father of Patrick "Ryan" and Melissa Riddle (John Miller).  He was the proud Grumpa of Zemirya, Zeniya, Zyann, Zarry and Jayden.  The brother of Sidney "Bill" Riddle and Margo Cervantes.

Barry was preceded in death by his mother Barbara and father Kermit "Slim" Riddle and his sister Emily Vernon.

He was loved by many including his sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

There will be a gathering for Barry on Saturday, February 19th, 2022 from 10AM until 12PM at Becker Funeral Home.  Afterwards the family will be hosting a Celebration of Barry's life at their residence.
