John Joseph Yates, 54, passed away on September 3, 2020. He was the husband of Monica Marie Yates. They shared six loving years of marriage together. Born in Baltimore City, Maryland, he was the son of Wiley Edward Yates, Jr., and Jo Ann Webb. He will be remembered for his kind and loving nature and always trying to make people laugh. He was a godly man and loved life. If you ever asked John how he was doing he would say "I am blessed that God guided me to my loving wife and my new life". He was very proud of his Facebook Group he created called "Best of the Bay…..Now you know the rest of the story", which is a huge success and his daughter, Amber. He loved all his friends and had a story for each one. He will be sadly missed by many.
John will be lovingly remembered by his Wife, Monica Marie Yates, Daughter, Amber Joelle Schorr, and Grandchildren, Aubrianna Elizabeth-Joan Schorr, Jeremiah Jackson Schorr, and Emily Joelle Schorr, his Mother, Jo Ann Webb, Sister, Kimberly Wright and numerous other family members and friends.
John was predeceased by his Father, Wiley Edward Yates, Jr.
A celebration of Life will be held Saturday September 19, 2020 at 11:00AM at The Fellowship Church: 33110 County Rd 473, Leesburg, FL 34788
