John George Verdejo passed in peace at his home in Clermont, Florida on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the age of 72, after a valiant battle with ALS and Agent Orange.

John was raised in a group home, where he made many lifelong friends.  At the age of 18, John joined the service and served his Country honorably.

Upon separating from the Army, John went off to join corporate America, where he met his wife, Iris Verdejo (nee Colon).

John loved to travel the world and when he got married, they made his passion, their own.  He was also an avid sportsfan; who loved everything sports.

In 2003 John and Iris moved to Clermont, Florida.

His family paid tribute to him: "You could always count on John to make you laugh.  He was admired, loved and will be missed."

He is survived by his wife, his Titi Rachel, several cousins and his niece, Candace.
