John LeRoy Riffle, Sr., age 75, Montverde, passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2015. He was born May 3, 1939 in Honolulu, HA son of Margaret Caminos & Jack Washington Riffle and was a lifelong Florida resident, having moved here when he was three months old. He retired from Continental Can after 32 years of employment and attended Lakeside Church, Spirit Life Church & Ocoee Church of God. His beloved wife Vicky Suits Riffle preceded him in death on February 6, 2006. Surviving are his sons John LeRoy Riffle, Jr. & wife Lynn, Clermont; Victor Irvin Riffle & wife Diane, Groveland & James William Riffle, Leesburg; grandchildren Chris Hoffman, Brittany Riffle, Jonathan Riffle, Dallas Riffle & Victoria Rager; great-granddaughters Bella & Grace Hoffman & siblings Irvin Riffle & wife Betty Sue, Winter Garden; Jackie Ford & husband Herbert, Jacksonville, AL & Shirley Cobia & husband Robert, Gotha.



Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Lakeside Church in Oakland, FL. Pastor Jason Hitte will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
