John Daniel Martens, born on September 26, 1958 passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 in Clermont, Florida.

John worked for Avnet Electronics for over 20 years and in the Electronics Distribution business for over 30 years.  Born and raised in Fairport, NY with his brother and sister Janet and Jeff.  John is survived by his wife Cathy Martens of 29 years and 4 children Scott, Kyle, Erika, and Jessica.  He was a grandfather to 5 beautiful grandchildren Dylan, Cameron, Adalyn, Avery, and Kennedy.  The family would not be complete without adding Rachael (Kyle's wife) and Kenny (Erika's husband) to complete his circle of joy.

Beside spending time with family and friends and being the best at sharing the Sunday Steak dinner he had a passion for fishing, hunting, and traveling to places around the world.  He spent vacations in Italy, France, England, Croatia, Caribbean Island, Hawaii, Mexico and many cruises in seeing the world.
