John David "Dave" Lathbury, January 29, 1948 – February 11, 2022 Clermont, Florida passed from this life on February 11, 2022 at South Lake Hospital. Born January 29, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA, Dave was the son of the late Norman K. Sr. and Bertha Fuhrer Lathbury. He was a graduate of Ligonier Valley High School and Florida Atlantic University. Dave served in the United States Army as a lab technician, which included a tour in Vietnam. On August 31, 1974 he married Susan Parker. Dave worked for Florida Power and Light Company.

He is survived by his loving wife Susan, sons James (Jess) and Justin (Billy) Lathbury. Also surviving is his grandson Logan. He is also survived by his brother Norman (Kathy) and many nieces and nephews.

Dave enjoyed watching sports, especially basketball, baseball and football. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage with new ways to fix things. He enjoyed spending time spoiling his dog and grand dogs.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at the discretion of the family.
