John A. Keys Jr, of Tavares, Florida, was born January 15th, 1943. He was a native of Greenville, South Carolina and a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenville. He was a devoted husband and loving father. John had a great memory and wonderful sense of humor. He loved fishing, boating and camping with his family. He is survived by his wife Edith G. Keys and daughters Deborah Kiely, her husband Michael Kiely, grandchildren Katherine and John as well as a younger daughter Amanda Gadden, her husband Christopher, and grandchildren Andrew, Lauren and Zachary.



John was fortunate to be adopted as an infant, by loving parents, Jack and Mildred Keys, and grew up with his younger sister Mary Hart Wilheit.  As an adult, John was blessed to find his birth family in Warrensburg, Missouri and enjoyed getting to know his birth mother Charlotte Trott, brothers John and Robert Trott and sister Margaret Hoppert.



A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 27th at 11am at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Clermont, Florida.
