Obituary
John Van Horn, age 99, passed away at home, Sunday, April 8, 2018. He was born November 1, 1918 in the Netherlands. He immigrated to the United States in August 1950 and became a naturalized citizen in 1960. John worked for Buick Motor Division as a Quality Assurance Engineer and retired to Florida in 1985. John had a big heart and loved a good joke, as he himself was quite the prankster.
John is survived by his wife, Mildred, son James and wife Diane, son John and wife Melissa, grandchildren Wendy and husband Doug, Sheri and husband Kevin, Christina and husband Christopher and Kimberly as well as four great grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Jacob and Aeryn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
