John Mix Deming, III, 77, Clermont, passed away April 2, 2013 at Kindred Hospital Bay Area in Tampa. He was born November 11, 1935 in Warwick, NY son of John Mix Deming, Jr. & Veta Merritt. On January 2, 1981 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Dougherty in Warwick. He was a retired banker and a local resident since 2001 from Carolina Shores, NC. He was a former volunteer fireman in Warwick and locally member of South Lake Presbyterian Church where he was a former deacon and a member of the New York Club at King's Ridge. Surviving is his wife Kathleen; children Susan (Terry) Ernhout & Pamela Sinsabaugh all of Warwick; Carolyn (William) Sicheri, Greenwood Lake, NY & Martha (Charles) Ehlers, Sparrow Bush, NY; step-children Earl (Carrie) Struble, Raleigh, NC & Melissa (John) Gunter, Mt. Holly, NC; 9 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. His sister Janet preceded him in death.



The memorial service for John Deming will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at South Lake Presbyterian Church with Reverend Melanie Ruta officiating.
