John Richard Butler, 73, of Clermont, FL died at home on Friday, June 19

John was born December 30, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri where he spent the first half of his life. He served in the Air Force that inspired his love of airplanes. He turned that passion into an award winning career that led him to Florida. While he enjoyed golf and fishing, his favorite pastime was that of being an adored Poppi.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Ann Butler; daughter, Kellen Butler Correia and husband, Stephen; son, Christopher Butler and wife Lindy; two stepsons Ron Beram and James Beram; grandchildren, Olivia and Kai Correia, Sophie, Marcus, and Jake Butler, Kendall, Annalee, Kyle, Linsie, and Anthony Beram; great grandchild, Riley Raynard; three younger sisters, two younger brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents and two younger brothers.

A memorial will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, Jun. 24, at the Becker Funeral Home followed by a reception at Sanctuary Ridge Golf Club.
