Joe Lee Williams, age 77, Clermont passed away September 2, 2015 at home. He was born July 17, 1938 in Durham, NC. He served four years in the United States Army prior to his marriage to Louise Croskey on November 19, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY.
Joe Lee Williams was a successful business owner for a Carvel Ice Cream in Orlando, Florida. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to being a great provider for his family he was a father to the fatherless. He has left a legacy of being a self-made entrepreneur, nurturer and being wise beyond his years. Within his fulfilling life he brought substance to others without thinking of himself. He was a man that lead by example and those who love him long to be with him again soon. Daddy we love you!
Surviving are his wife Louise Williams of the residence; children Sharon Williams & Michael Williams of Atlanta, GA; Sabrina Stafford, Florence, SC; Deseree Williams, Anthony Williams & Annette Rodriguez all of Clermont & Toni Williams, Hampton, VA; grandchildren Shanese, Mercedes, Giovanti, Diante & Davaughn Williams, Nino Rodriguez & Ina Reedy; great grandson Delone Walker; son's-in-law Jose Rodriguez & Roosevelt Stafford; sisters Annie Ruth Williams, Durham, NC & Rachael Faye Belser, Brooklyn, NY & a host of nieces, nephews & sister's in law. The Home Going Service for Mr. Williams will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 6, 2015 in the Becker Chapel. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM until the service time.
